If you have misplaced your NIN or you can’t recall the 11-digits anymore, then need to apply for retrieval of your NIN. Luckily for you, that can be done easily using your mobile phone. Let’s take a look at how you can retrieve your NIN number using an MTN SIM card.

1. Go to the call app on your mobile phone
2. Dial_*346#
3. After dialing the code, several options will be displayed on your screen
4. Select “NIN retrieval” from the displayed options by typing 1
5. Note that this service will cost you N20 only, which will be deducted from your mobile phone network.

3. Send the message “UPDATENIN, your 11-digit NIN number, first name, and Last name” For example send; “UPDATENIN 64812640614 John Bassey”
4. Send the message to 109
5. After sending the message your NIN will be linked to GLO line automatically.

2. Follow the on-screen instructions to enter and submit your details
3. After entering your details, tap on send
4. Your NIN will be linked to your Glo SIM card.
5. Alternatively, you can visit the website. https://mobileapp.gloworld.com/glonin/home to link your NIN to your Glo number.
